The challenges of CSR 

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is defined as “the voluntary integration by companies of social and environmental concerns into their commercial activities and their relations with stakeholders” by the French Ministry for Ecological Transition. In other words, CSR is the application of sustainable development within companies. 

According to ADEME, the global textile industry accounts for 4 billion tonnes of CO2 emissions. It is one of the most polluting industries, with a considerable impact on the environment, partly responsible for the increasing scarcity of fossil fuels and a major contributor to climate change. 

Today, with the growing awareness of the impact of industry on the environment and the emergence of legal provisions such as the Anti-Waste and Circular Economy Act (AGEC), CSR is becoming an important and indispensable part of the future of our industry.

We are aware that the production of raw materials, manufacturing, processing and distribution have a considerable impact on the environment. We have chosen to concentrate our sourcing and processing in France in order to manage these aspects more sustainably and guarantee the integrity of the supply chain, while encouraging our partners to better manage their environmental impact. In addition to meeting customer requirements, our mission is to reduce this impact at every level.

Since 2021, we have been aware of our impact on the environment and are committed to developing a solid CSR policy within the company, in particular by implementing certifications for our products.

Today, our objective is to integrate CSR into the governance of the company in order to become a responsible company with a positive impact.
