Thermobonded

For thermobonded linings and reinforcements

In the early 2000s, we integrated two sprinkling lines within the company.

Thermobonding involves sprinkling adhesive granules onto a textile to make it heat-reactive. We supply these thermobonded to our customers so that they can use them on their materials. We can also use our thermobonded adhesives to reinforce your materials by laminating them.

Our highly specialised equipment enables us to coat delicate materials using progressive-heat infrared ovens. What's more, with variable sprinkling speeds, we can coat fabrics with very little final metre loss (around 1%). This makes it possible to thermobonded fabrics with a high initial added value.

Depending on the end use of your items, we can offer you different adhesives with the properties you require (light, soft, round and firm, rigid, etc.). Our adhesive deposits can vary from 5 g/m² to 120 g/m² depending on the end use and the particle size of the adhesive used.

Our adhesives : EVA / Co-Polyamide / Polyester / LDPE

Laminating

For a variety of textile complexes

Laminating is complementary to bonding. Using a heated calender, we can laminate two (or more) textiles. This involves using heat and pressure to bond two layers by reactivating the adhesive previously applied by thermobonding. In our workshops, we develop different laminated complexes. Our customers also send us their different layers so that we can bond them together.

By laminating textiles in small runs, we are able to produce laminates that have been diverted from their original use, with a much wider range of backings than a traditional coated fabric. For example, we laminate decorative fabrics (curtains, sofas, etc.) for use in leather goods, or garment fabrics for use in footwear, but we also make numerous collages of woollens and velvets that are too light to be used as they are. Our machines are flexible in use, so we can produce small runs if required with little wastage, allowing us to work with high added-value fabrics.

Fabrics

A wide range of products made in France

We have been working for years with French weavers, with whom we develop our own fabrics. We now offer a range of products that are exclusively woven and finished in France. Every year, we exhibit our new collection of products and colours at various trade fairs.

Design office

For made-to-measure products

We study our customers' requirements in order to adapt to them as best we can. From fabric to semi-finished product, we have expertise to contribute at every stage in the manufacture of a product.

  • Send us samples of the fabric you require so that we can source a similar product.
  • Work with us to develop colour ranges for fabrics that will be dyed in France by our finishing partners.
  • Send us a request to reinforce one of your products with our thermoabonded products
  • Work with us to carry out laminating tests with different products

Textile cutting

For parts tailored to your needs

We cut your fabrics to size in our workshop using two processes:

Mattressing

We use a quilting table to tailor packaging to your specific requirements, in terms of the length and number of thicknesses of mattress to suit your needs, as well as the presentation of ready-to-use fabrics, i.e. face to face, reverse side to reverse side, etc. delivered on pallets. We can deliver our fabrics in any finish, in panels of any length and in flat format.

Die-cutting

We are equipped with a 70-tonne mobile bridge press. This enables us to make die-cuts of up to 30 thicknesses, depending on the material (thickness, fraying, flexibility, etc.). We can cut a wide range of fabrics and nonwovens, even very soft ones. All our thermobonded fabrics can be cut to your size by machining a die to your specifications. This cutting process also works for fabrics that have been adhered by us to our calender, as the protective paper of the adhesive prevents the layers from fusing together. The final packaging can be customised to suit your needs. You can choose multiples and mix and match formats. You can also demand traceability of the formats cut in relation to the fabric or complex on a roll before cutting and quilting.
